I'm very much interested in working on the group project. My fall is getting loaded up, so we need to start firming things up.
Let's see what we can put together.

Maybe the wintertime is better for this: more of a contrast between the places that get snow and the places that don't.

Yes, I'm interested! Sorry for the late response, been finishing 2 projects up, and battling a nasty cold. Omaha is a pretty ordinary town.....you might think I copied the opening from "Green Acres!" Just kidding, Omaha is just like any other city, only smaller! Mike

Ok, maybe if everyone picks a time we can narrow it down from there. I need 4 weeks before I'll be ready to shoot and I have a preference for mid October as that will be peak fall colors here

Let's see the forecast for SF in mid-October.
Yup, 68 degrees and foggy.
**** , I guess I could film it at any time of year around here, and it would be 68 and foggy.

A few years back there was a film project called "Lumiere Et Compagnie" were 40 international directors from around the world each shot a small, 30 second film with a replica of the Lumiere Brother’s original Cinematographe camera. Maybe something like that might work here were each Filmmaker would get a roll or two of super 8 stock and make a one minute (or longer) short based on their own idea.
Here's a link to the Lumiere film on IMDB.

Please don't let this jinx my own film for talking about it before it happens.
I already have the ending shot to my movie, and because of the waywardness of the location (easy come, easy go), I am planning on shooting the final shot either tonight or tomorrow night.

I think it would be cool to get between 10-20 people involved. Anyone else interested?

I'd be interested
I live in Vancouver BC Canada and I think I can get some nice shots.
